Herbal Medicine Treatment has its roots in every culture around all corner of the world. There are many different systems of traditional medicine, and philosophy & practices of each and they got influenced by social conditions, environment and geographic location, but these systems all agree on a holistic approach to life. Some Well-known systems of herbal medicine are like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine believe that the central idea that there should be an emphasis on health rather than on disease. By using the healing herbs, people can thrive and focus on their overall total conditions, rather than on a particular one ailment that typically arises from a lack of equilibrium of the mind, body and environment.

Complementary and alternative medicine & treatments

Complementary and alternative medicine is basically based on the belief that a medical care provider has to treat the whole person and its — body, mind, and spirit. The techniques which are used in CAM are mostly less invasive than conventional medical practices, means that they don't rely on surgery or conventional medications.

Some of the CAM therapies are supported by scientific evidence, but others are not. Many are still needed to be studied. This doesn't really mean that these therapies don't work, it just means that experts haven't studied them enough to know if they do or not— and if so, then how.

Alternative medicine consists of a wide range of practices, products, and therapies – ranging from those that are biologically possible but are not well tested to those with known harmful and toxic effects. Perceived effects of alternative medicine may occur by placebo; decreased the effect of functional treatment and regression toward the mean where improvements that would have occurred anyway is credited to alternative therapies; or any combination of the above. Alternative treatments are not same as of the experimental medicine or traditional medicine, although much of the latter is alternative when used today.

And there are Herbal Health Care Products also to fight from a diseases. These are the  health care practice that does not follow generally accepted medical methods and may be not have a scientific explanation for its effectiveness. Examples of alternative medicines are homeopathy and herbal medicine etc. These also work and give effective results.
